Emailing your followers and past guests, without leaving SESH

· 2 min read

Segments, a real formatting toolbar, a hero image, and — on Top Shelf — scheduling for later. Sent from SESH with your name on it; replies land in your own inbox.

Announcing new gear, a slow-week discount, or just that you're still around and taking bookings usually means opening a separate tool, remembering your list is over there and your bookings are over here, and paying for both. Marketing, in your SESH Manager Dashboard, is the same job without the second login.

Who you can actually reach

"Who gets this" lets you check any combination of four segments: Followers, Past guests, Saved your listings, and Your uploaded list. Check more than one and SESH still counts each real person exactly once — someone who both follows you and has booked before doesn't count twice against your monthly allowance.

Your uploaded list comes in as a CSV or a plain text file, one email per line, or two columns (email and name, either order) if you want to personalize by name. It should be people who've actually agreed to hear from you — this isn't built for a purchased or scraped list, and every email includes a real unsubscribe link that removes someone from marketing email platform-wide the moment they use it, not just from your list.

Writing the email

Subject line, an optional headline, and a message body with a real formatting toolbar — select text and hit Bold, Italic, or Heading, or drop in a link or an image inline. A "Button text" and "Button link" pair renders as an actual button, usually pointed at a listing you want to drive bookings to. A Preview panel next to the builder shows exactly what a recipient's inbox will render, updating as you type — headline, body, button, and the unsubscribe line, together, before you've sent anything.

Hero image adds a photo across the top of the email, pulled either from your own listing photos or uploaded fresh — the kind of visual a plain-text announcement doesn't have room for.

Sending it — or scheduling it

Send test to myself sends the actual email to your own inbox first, using one send from your monthly quota exactly like a real campaign would, so what you're checking is the real thing rather than a simplified preview. The send button itself reads plainly — "Send to 340 recipients," for instance — so there's never any ambiguity about how many people are about to get it.

On Top Shelf, Or schedule for later lets you pick a date and time at least 15 minutes out and walk away; SESH sends it automatically. A scheduled send shows up under its own section until it fires and can be canceled any time before then.

What it costs, concretely

It's included in Boost, Premium, and Top Shelf, with a monthly send allowance built into each: 500 on Boost, 2,000 on Premium, 8,000 on Top Shelf. There's no per-email or per-contact charge on top of that — it's one line on the subscription you're likely already paying for the rest of your studio's tools, not a second bill from a separate marketing platform. See how that compares to running a dedicated email tool alongside SESH.
