Recording Studio — Nashville, TN
$150 per hr
An all-analog Nashville recording studio built around a fully restored 1978 MCI JH428 console with 20 API mic preamps, opened in 2008 in a 13,000-square-foot former record-pressing warehouse. Tracking and mixing can run entirely on tape or through a parallel Pro Tools HD rig, and the studio offers digital and vinyl mastering in-house, including all-analog releases carried through from tracking to lacquer cutting. A sister company, Mara Machines, handles tape archiving and analog-to-digital transfers. Day rate covers 12 hours and includes an assistant engineer and unlimited tape.
